Rules & Regulations 2019​

​

1. The committee have the right to refuse ANY application for membership or  cancel current Membership.

​

2. That the annual subscription, as defined by the Committee, will run from the 1st January each year and will be valid for that year only.

​

3. That MACHINES and CLOTHES must comply with the A.C.U. Rules

​

4. All competitors must wear an identification disc as stipulated in the ACU handbook.

​

5. All competitors must have a 2kg (minimum) dry powder fire extinguisher, these will be checked.

​

6. Kill buttons and Helmet straps will be checked at each meeting.

​

7. That all members will be expected to perform certain duties: these include, MARSHALLING & TRACK LAYING/CLEARING. A refusal to perform specified duties when requested by a Member of the Committee will render that Member and his Rider(s) liable to temporary suspension. Marshalling normally 1 session per rider.

​

8. That there is NO RIDING IN THE PITS, BIKES WILL BE PUSHED WITH DEAD ENGINES. Any rider doing so can be withdrawn from the Meeting and sent home, at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. This applies at practice also.

​

9. That the Clerk of the Course may withdraw any rider, who in his/her opion, constitutes a danger to others either by his/her riding or through damage to their bike.

​

10 That ANY RIDER/GUARDIAN may be excluded from a Meeting or from the Club for unacceptable or abusive conduct towards fellow competitors, club officials or spectators.

​

11. That all SPECTATORS, MEMBERS, VISITORS or RIDERS who stray into areas not specified for SPECTATORS will be asked to move into appropriate areas.

​

12. That ALL RIDERS must OBEY the Marshals flags AT ALL TIMES (see back of card). RIDERS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE MARSHALS INSTRUCTIONS SHALL RENDER THEMSELVES LIABLE TO DISQUALIFICATION, FROM THE EVENT, MEETING OR SEASONS MEETINGS.

​

13. That NOBODY is to distract the Lap Scorers at ANY TIME. Any queries should be taken up with the Clerk of the Course, their Stewards or a Member of the Committee. In any dispute involving race positions, the decision of the Chief Lap Scorer is final.

​

14. STARTING BOARD, 15 seconds then change to 5 seconds. Race to start ANYTIME after 5 second board is shown.

​

15. To qualify for the CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP, minimum of SEVEN MEETINGS to
be ridden, best NINE MEETINGS TO COUNT. Race points will be 1st - 45, 2nd - 42, 3rd - 40, 4th - 38, 5th - 36, 6th - 35, followed by 1 point reduction per place. Riders must complete at least 1 lap and take the CHEQUERED FLAG no more that 3 minutes after the winner, UNAIDED, WITH HELMET ON, to be classed as a finisher. Riders who choose to ride more than one class must designate which championship class they wish to ride.

16. Club officials can ask to inspect all riders A.C.U., Licences at anytime.

​

17. The Committee reserve the right to alter race Programmes, Dates and Championship Rules as deemed necessary.

​

18. The A.G.M. will be held at the end of the recognised season.

​

19. The insurance cover for all events will be basic insurance covered

By the A.C.U. through Doodson Motorsport. There is NO personal accident cover for competitors.

NOISE
The noise level for bikes in 2019 is as per A.C.U. Regulations.
Check with your handbook.
